I'm CM Robles - author, hobbyist Pokémon YouTuber, and professional procrastinator.

     I've been writing stories since I was a kid, none of them were good of course, but at some point I decided that I would go back and make them better.

​

     Versions of the stories I publish have existed since my dumb little kid brain could spew them out. Now, my slightly less dumb adult brain has translated those tales into competent* stories that I hope to share with the wider world.

     I like to inject storytelling and lore into all aspects of what I do creatively - including my Pokémon channel on YouTube, called TheNovaLeague. I prefer when art is a collaborative effort, and through the influence of my friends and viewers, through drawings or one-off jokes, my books are a reflection of it all. My main goal is to produce fleshed out universes that the reader can envision themselves in - to embody the idea that "Every story ever told, is real."

     Having started this creative endeavor in High School, in hindsight, despite having the first two installments of the Thrones of Time series professionally edited, I can look back at those first forays into publishing and see that the quality isn't quite up to my current standards. I've chosen to see that as a good thing, however. The Thrones of Time trilogy, and all my books, get better as you read. I think it's pretty neat to be able to see the growth there, to the point that Void Jumpers has become my proudest achievement.

     With lofty goals of building a vast interconnected book-verse over the coming years, and a small, yet growing, audience to enjoy it, I've got my work cut out for me. So, if you stick around for the ride, I'd highly appreciate it.
